Beauty 365 … Stories of Love and Life for Everyday

This is a photo of my beloved husband, and our dog, gazing out at the sunset at Ventnor, Phillip Island.

I admit, It would have been better if I was in the photo with Steve, but our retriever, who hasn’t learnt to retrieve(!), hasn’t learnt the art of taking photos either, so it’s Steve with the dog.

This week we are at our Phillip Island holiday house again.

The kids talk about ‘The Phillip island drug’. It’s a drug in the air which slows us down and makes us take naps after lunch.

As the sun set yesterday, the sky spent a full 30 mins wowing us with a drama of colors, shapes and emotion, until it returned quietly to darkness.

And I stayed still, and watched.
