Beauty 365 … Stories of Love and Life for Everyday

Hello and welcome!

This is a momentous occasion. 

Today I am launching my new website and writing my very first blog entry.

In case you haven’t read the ‘about’ page, allow me to introduce myself and explain what drives me to put pen to paper.

My name is Annie.

I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunty, educator, creator, lover of life, and now a writer!

For the last couple of years I have experienced strange stirrings in my heart, that have prompted me to do something concrete about my passion for Beauty.

Our society is suffering from a ‘Beauty Crisis’. 

We are daily bombarded with strangling beauty standards and stereotypes, which are having devastating effects.

Dostoevsky, the famous Russian writer is well known for asserting, ‘Beauty will save the World’. Hear hear! I applaud his sentiment!

The aim of my blog is to share with you, dear reader, reflections on True Beauty, and as the blog title says, ‘Stories of Love and Life for Everyday’. If you are tired of depressing news, experiencing fear and suffering loss of hope, or simply looking for something to brighten your day, then please stay tuned for some life-giving, uplifting and inspiring tales and tips about discovering True Beauty, more and more in the world, in others and most importantly in yourself.
